Residential Painting
Overview
About our residential painting
Residential painting is the whole-house version of this work: interior rooms, ceilings, trim and doors on one side, and stucco, fascia, eaves, garage and front door on the other. Handled together, the color scheme stays coherent and prep gets planned once, with patching, caulking and priming scheduled across the property instead of discovered room by room.
Households arrive at this at fairly predictable points: moving into a home that has never been repainted, reviving walls the sun and daily traffic have worn down, preparing to list, or finishing a remodel where new drywall meets old paint. Inland Empire tract homes share enough construction detail, stucco body over wood or composite trim with orange-peel interiors, that the scope is familiar without being identical.
A walkthrough comes first, room by room and elevation by elevation, and what comes out of it is a free written estimate naming surfaces, coat counts and sheens. Work is then sequenced so the household keeps functioning, with bedrooms and bathrooms staying in rotation and exterior elevations following the shade. You hear what is happening the day before it happens.

Why it pays off
One Coordinated Scope
Interior and exterior are planned as a single project, so colors relate to each other, prep gets scheduled once, and nobody has to come back later for the part that was left out.
A Household That Functions
Rooms are sequenced instead of opened all at once. You keep a bedroom, a bathroom and a clear path through the house while the work moves around you.
Everything in Writing
Surfaces, coats, sheens and colors are listed in a free written estimate before work starts, which is what keeps the finished job and the original conversation matching each other.
Licensed, Bonded and Insured
Amaral Precision Painting LLC works under California license CA LIC# 1160754 and carries bonding and insurance, so the people working inside your home are properly covered.
Our process
How we approach residential painting
The order matters as much as the materials. This is the sequence we follow, and the estimate spells out which steps your job needs.
- 01
Walkthrough and Scope
We go through every room and around every elevation, note the repairs each surface needs, and record sheens and coat counts. That becomes a free written estimate rather than a verbal number at the door.
- 02
Color and Sheen Plan
Body, trim, doors, ceilings and any accent areas are decided as a set, with samples where a color is uncertain and association-approved palettes confirmed before exterior colors get locked in.
- 03
Stage the House
Furniture is moved and covered, floors protected, hardware and plates removed, and exteriors masked. Rooms are sequenced so you keep a bedroom and a bathroom outside the active work zone.
- 04
Repair and Prime
Drywall patches, stucco cracks, failing caulk and bare wood are handled and spot-primed across the whole property before finish coats, so the topcoat goes over one consistent surface.
- 05
Finish Coats by Area
Interiors run ceilings, then walls, then trim and doors. Exteriors run body, then trim and fascia, then doors. Each area is completed and reassembled before the next one gets opened up.
- 06
Final Walk Together
We walk the interior under your own lighting and the exterior elevation by elevation. Touch-ups are handled on the spot, while the equipment is still on site.
